Born and raised in Odessa, Texas, Alec Lee Williams is currently studying his MFA in Arts Administration at Texas Tech University. As the creator and producer of the West Texas Education Project, he financed, managed, and marketed a multi-city collaboration that generated long-lasting regional relationships. More recently, he produced the Red Raider One-Act Play and Dance Spectacular, a new work festival at Texas Tech, produced The Hairy Ape by Eugene O’Neill at Grace Campus to raise money for a transitional homeless shelter in Lubbock, founded Renegade Productions, and is working with the YWCA of Lubbock to produce What We Scream Underwater When No One Can Hear Us by Caitlin Turnage at their Sun N Fun pool.
Alec Lee Williams has worked in visual arts, dance, music, and theatre organizations, sang and danced lead roles for operas and musicals, and managed multiple large-scale operations. He also loves to salsa dance!
